The Role
As a General Sales Assistant, you will support day-to-day sales activities, assist customers, and help deliver promotions and sales initiatives. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys working with people, takes a proactive approach, and wants to build a long-term career in sales and marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Support the sales team in meeting daily goals and performance targets
Respond to customer enquiries in a professional and helpful manner
Assist with product demonstrations and presentations
Support promotional campaigns and marketing activity
Maintain accurate sales, customer, and inventory records
Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations and high levels of customer satisfaction
Attend training sessions to develop product knowledge and sales skills
Help organise and support sales events and exhibitions
Required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A positive, customer-focused approach
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team
Willingness to learn and adapt in a changing environment
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
High school diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have
Previous experience in sales, retail, or customer service
